question about my best friends birthday gift?
hi all, id like people’s opinions about a gift id get my best friend for his birthday. we are 23 year old males and i was thinking of getting him a bracelet with his name on it, a couple years back i got him a Cross to go with a silver chain and he liked it, but would a personalized bracelet would give a ‘gay’ impression. obviously we arent gay or else it wouldnt be a concern lol i dont want to send a wrong impression. weve been friends for 16 years and ive run outta things to get him plus hes not the type who is materialistic. so what is everyones opinion of this as a gift, is it a normal thoughful gift for a birthday or does it sound too gay for 2 23 year old guys. thanks for any opinions.

jewelry is always and or usually an intimate gift. Try something that shows I love you like a brother but “no homo,” as my guy friends would say to each other. Try something homemade like think of something that would be really special to him. You’ve been friends for 16 years. Oh here’s an idea pull out some old childhood photos of you two together of how you have changed together and I think he might like that. Or buy him tickets to go see something, event experiences are always more fun to do as friends.
