Where can I buy supplies to make a beaded bracelet?

Hey guys um I’ve never made a beaded bracelet before and I’d like to make one for the girl I’m in love with [:. So um for anyone who has any experience with making them, where can I go to get beads with like letters so I can spell her name out? and whats the best kind of string to use? I was thinking the kind that elastic kind so that it fits really her wrist really well, I’m not sure what its called though lol. Thanks in advance everyone!!
