How can i set dye in bracelets?


I dyed some string in a series of colors to make bracelets. But i didn’t use fabric dye or anything like that, i put food coloring in hot water and basically let the dye seep into the string, but now that i’m weaving the bracelets i am worried the color will come out when my friends get them wet. Is there a way to set in food coloring?

May be you can put a coat of clear nail polish on your bracelets and dry them. It should work.
