Where to find “perfect” engagement ring…?

Im in the process of shopping for an engagement ring, and have gotten a pretty good idea of what my girlfriend and I both want, but am having NO luck finding it…Antique, maybe victorian/edwardian era, preferably platinum, and I really like the old mine cut diamonds. The thing thats hardest to find is the attention to detail on the band. Oh, and somewhere around $4-5K. Im basically looking for a cross between these:

I LOVE the style of the first one, EXCEPT for the way the center stone sits SO low. It looks a little too much like a class ring. If it were raised a little more, and were a little narrower at the top, i think it might be the one… the second one just illustrates kind of what I mean….

Any Ideas?

I also love victorian/edwardian era and art deco inspired rings! The second ring you’ve posted is similar to the engagement ring my husband got me from Brilliant Earth:

This is a great place to get engagement and wedding rings because they have a selection of antique rings but also their own designs. Many inspired from the past. They are willing to even work with you to design your own ring, and use only recycled metals, including platinum which you are looking for. They use only conflict free diamonds and also have a sapphire option on the site, but are willing to use any gem stone if you contact them and work on a personal design. Another great thing I love about them is that they donate a portion of their profit to charity. I’m sure you can find something in your price range.

Good luck!
