Do you remember Sarah Coventry Jewelry parties and are the jewelry pieces of value or collectible?

I was sorting threw some of my “jewels” last night and came across some costume jewelry made by “Sarah Coventry”. I remember buying it at jewelry parties back in the 1950′s and wonder if it is even made any more. I vaguely recall the jewelry being awarded on the TV shows like “Queen for a Day”. Do any of you have memories of Sarah Coventry jewelry parties?

Yes, and I also still have (and use) some of the pieces. I think I may have hosted a party or two as well as the Tupperware parties and there was even a cook ware company that sold through home parties. I went to many and often came home asking myself, “Now why did I order that?” It was bad form to go to the party and not order something. .

Thanks for the memories. I haven’t thought of those in years.
